Interesting React / React.js UI developer role for an AI Tech company. If you have strong React skills and would be interested in working on an AI / ML / Data Science platform then please apply asap. The role is to rewrite the UI from Vue to React, you will have strong input on the look, feel and future direction of the platform. You will also be developing the UI for new functionality. Prior exposure to AI platforms or applications is desirable but not essential.

The company has a very relaxed informal culture working remotely with a get together once per month in the South.

Job Role Summary
Develop the core Platform user interface.
Follow the full software development life cycle in an agile environment.
Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions.
Participate in the process of continuous improvement.
Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
Maintain a high quality, fully tested code stack.
Collaborate with other developers to design and implement features.
Research and analyse customer requirements.
Contribute to developing the strategy for technology platforms to align to the overall company strategy and vision.

Required:
Significant experience of UI-specific software engineering experience in an industry setting
Strong experience in React, plus core UI technologies: HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Experience of working in an agile software development setting
Experience with standard software development tools such as Git and Jira
Experience of working within small, remote teams

Desirable:
Prior experience with data visualisation and charting libraries such as Chart.js
Prior experience of working with machine learning applications
Prior experience with other JavaScript frameworks (VueJS etc.)
